Pintail Drake Duck Decoy Vintage Original Working Paint Bird by Danny Lee Heuer
This Decoy is from my (deceased) 96 year old father's estate and decoy collection.
Hand-carved out of Michigan High Ground White Cedar by Danny Lee Heuer, Circa 1988.
Measuring approximately 19 1/2" in length, 5 3/4" in height, and 6 " in width, a full size working decoy.
This decoy is sure to catch the eye of any prospective buyer. 
Hunted over and floated for 3 seasons before being retired to Dad's growing decoy collection.
We marsh hunted over this decoy, and was one of our birds that we "free floated", no anchor was used.
Dad always felt that a "free floating" small marsh decoy made the birds look so much more realistic.
We did this with many of his hand carved cedar decoys, it was a very effective method to fool those ducks! 
We were given strict instructions to not shoot anywhere near this decoy, which we never did for obvious reasons!
